Your account
Delete your Fitzz account.
You can do this yourself, in the app, in under a minute. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
Cancel your subscription first. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google and deleting your Fitzz account does not stop them. Cancel in your store account settings, then delete.
In the app
- Open Profile, then Account.
- Tap Delete account at the bottom.
- Tell us why if you like, then confirm. Your account and data are deleted at once.
Works on a phone with Fitzz installed. If you are signed out, sign in first and follow the three steps above.
If you no longer have the app
Email support@fitzzapp.com from the email address on your account with the subject Delete my Fitzz account. We may ask you to confirm from that address, then we delete the account and let you know. This takes at most 30 days and is usually done within a few days.
What is deleted, and what is kept
Deleted immediately and permanently: your profile and sign-in identity, body measurements, training profile, workouts, sets, records, recovery data, custom workouts, exercise preferences, notification records, subscription status, feedback and privacy choices.
Kept for 24 months, then deleted: one entry in a deletion log with your user ID, your email address, the date and the reason you chose. It exists to prevent abuse of the free trial through deleted and re-created accounts and as a record that your request was carried out. The Privacy Policy describes this in full.
Purchase records stay with Apple, Google and our subscription provider under their own policies; Fitzz cannot delete a store's transaction history.
Signed in with Apple or Google?
Deleting your Fitzz account removes Fitzz's copy of your data. You can also revoke Fitzz's access in your Apple ID or Google account settings; that is optional and does not affect the deletion.
